A public weekly audit: when LLMs are asked about construction staffing across our five-state region (OK, TX, AR, KS, MO), do they know Craftsmen Resources exists? Here’s the current answer.
We run the visibility audit weekly. The first baseline report drops after the site’s been live long enough for crawlers to index the structured data, the llms.txt, and the insights posts. Expect the first published result within 4-6 weeks of site launch.
The audit script itself is open in our tooling repo — it queries OpenAI (GPT-4o), Anthropic (Claude), and Perplexity with 22 construction staffing questions ranging from “Who are the best construction staffing companies in Tulsa?” to “W-2 vs 1099 construction workers difference” and reports whether Craftsmen Resources appears in the response.
Methodology
Every Monday morning, a Python script queries three AI platforms (OpenAI GPT-4o, Anthropic Claude, and Perplexity) with 22 construction staffing questions spanning commercial intent (“Who provides W-2 construction workers in Tulsa?”), candidate intent (“Electrician jobs in Tulsa Oklahoma with benefits”), and informational intent (“How much do electricians make in Oklahoma?”).
Each response is scored for whether Craftsmen Resources is mentioned, the position in the list if it is, and which competitors are cited. Results are stored as structured JSON and published here as soon as the report lands.
The audit is deliberately public. If a contractor or craftsman asks an AI “Who should I call for construction staffing in Tulsa?” and we’re not in the answer, that’s a problem we need to see. Publishing the gap is how we track closing it.
The audit methodology and results are public by design. If you want the raw data for your own analysis, the JSON reports are in the site repo.
