It’s the screening filter, the dispatch gate, and the jobsite protocol. Every craftsman carries the weight of the company’s reputation for safety onto every site.
The Foundation
If a craftsman identifies an unsafe condition, they're expected to stop work, report it, and not resume until it's resolved — no exceptions, no pressure from production.
Stop-work authority: every worker
Every certification, training hour, and site-specific clearance lives in the craftsman's file. Audits and spot-checks happen monthly, not quarterly.
OSHA-30 minimum for leads
Dispatch, foremen, and craftsmen share responsibility for safety outcomes. Near-miss reports are reviewed company-wide; patterns trigger training refreshers.
Near-miss reporting encouraged
Vetting Protocol
Every craftsman clears all five stages before dispatch. Failing any stage stops the process; nothing gets waived for speed.
01
Every licensed-trade applicant has their credentials verified against state boards (Oklahoma CIB, Texas TDLR). Expired or unverifiable licenses stop the process here.
02
OSHA-10 minimum for field placement; OSHA-30 required for superintendent and lead roles. Specialty certs (TWIC, MSHA, Rigging & Signal, AWS) verified against issuing bodies.
03
Two-reference minimum from prior foremen or superintendents. Drug screening and criminal background check — site-specific clearances added where the client requires them.
04
Trade-specific skill evaluation. Journeymen demonstrate proficiency to a master-level trade lead. Results stay on file and inform deployment matching.
05
Every craftsman completes a site-specific orientation before first shift: hazard awareness, emergency procedures, PPE requirements, and jobsite rules.
Jobsite Protocols
Hard hat, safety glasses, high-vis, steel-toe — on every site, no exceptions. Site-specific PPE (FR clothing, respirators, fall harnesses) is verified before mobilization.
Every craftsman is expected to report near-misses, not just incidents. Reports go to dispatch within the same shift and inform root-cause reviews.
Pre-employment, random, post-incident, and reasonable-suspicion testing. Alcohol and controlled-substance policies align with DOT and federal contractor standards.
Full Oklahoma workers' compensation coverage and general liability insurance on every W-2 craftsman. Certificates of insurance available on request.
Credentials Maintained
These credentials are verified on every applicable craftsman, re-verified on expiration, and audited on request by clients with compliance requirements.
Compliance officers welcome. We share our full safety manual, certificates of insurance, and screening documentation on request.
