Position Overview

As a Commercial Carpenter, you will interpret blueprints and specifications to build, install, and repair interior and exterior wood structures. You’ll coordinate with project managers, general contractors, and other trades to sequence carpentry work while adhering to local codes and architectural requirements. This full-time, on-site role offers steady hours, optional overtime, and clear advancement opportunities.

What You’ll Do

• check_circleRead and interpret construction plans, blueprints, and material specifications
• check_circleFrame walls, floors, ceilings, and roof structures using dimensional lumber and engineered components
• check_circleInstall doors, windows, cabinets, custom millwork, and finish carpentry elements
• check_circleMeasure, cut, shape, and assemble wood, metal, or composite materials with hand and power tools
• check_circleRepair or replace damaged woodwork, fixtures, and trim to maintain structural integrity and aesthetics
• check_circleCollaborate with other trades to ensure proper fit, finish, and project sequencing
• check_circleFollow all safety protocols, including fall protection and proper tool handling

What You Bring

• check_circle3+ years of commercial carpentry experience in new construction and renovation projects
• check_circleProficiency with framing carpentry, finish trim, and custom millwork
• check_circleStrong ability to read and work from blueprints, drawings, and cut lists
• check_circleSkilled in the use of hand tools, power saws, routers, and layout instruments
• check_circleExcellent attention to detail, mathematical aptitude, and problem-solving skills
• check_circleReliable attendance, a strong work ethic, and a commitment to safety

Pay & Benefits

Pay Range: $20.00 – $35.00 per hour (based on experience)
Shift: Day shift, Monday–Friday, with overtime available
