Position Overview

As a Commercial Electrician, you will handle installations in new construction and renovation projects, perform routine maintenance, and swiftly diagnose electrical issues. You’ll collaborate with general contractors, project managers, and other trades to ensure each job meets local code requirements and client specifications. This is a full-time, on-site role with opportunities for overtime and career advancement.

What You’ll Do

• check_circleRead and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams
• check_circleInstall, wire, and terminate motors, controls, and circuit breakers
• check_circleInstall, bend and place a variety of conduit including EMT and Rigid Pipe
• check_circleInstall switches, receptacles, and various electrical components
• check_circleInstall wiring systems, conduit, lighting fixtures, receptacles, and panelboards
• check_circleTroubleshoot and repair electrical faults in lighting, HVAC, and power systems
• check_circlePerform preventive maintenance and safety inspections on electrical components
• check_circleCoordinate with project teams to sequence electrical work alongside other trades
• check_circleEnsure compliance with NEC, NFPA 70E, and local electrical codes
• check_circleMaintain tools, equipment, and a clean, safe work area

What You Bring

• check_circle3+ years of commercial electrician experience
• check_circleOK Apprentice or Journeyman Electrician license preferred
• check_circleIn-depth knowledge of NEC, NFPA 70E, and applicable local codes
• check_circleProficiency with hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment (multimeter, megger)
• check_circleStrong blueprint-reading and circuit-labeling skills
• check_circleExcellent problem-solving, communication, and teamwork abilities
• check_circleReliable attendance and a commitment to safety

Pay & Benefits

Pay Range: $20.00 – $45.00 per hour (depending on experience)
Shift: Day shift, Monday–Friday, with occasional overtime
