The Trade
HVAC is one of our highest-demand trades right now, driven by commercial construction, Amazon fulfillment build-outs, and the DFW data-center hyperscaler cycle. Our focus is primarily install work on commercial projects. A state mechanical license is required, and EPA Section 608 certification is required for refrigeration applications, with additional credentialing for commercial refrigerant handling and building management systems. Demand in Oklahoma peaks in the summer months — plan requests ahead of the season.
Typical Roles
Rooftop unit installation, split systems, ductwork fabrication and install, commissioning, and service on commercial buildings.
BMS programming, VAV commissioning, thermostat wiring, and integration between mechanical and electrical scopes.
Heavy mechanical work on manufacturing and process-cooling applications. Chillers, cooling towers, industrial air handlers.
Layout, fabrication, hanging, and connecting commercial ductwork on new construction and retrofit projects.
Field support under journeyman supervision — pull wire, hang duct, assist on install.
